Dropshipping has little returns for the amount of volume that you have to pump out. I've done this my self and successfuly made a pretty decent income off of it prior to selling the brand I created.
The real money is made in services/products offered as an upsell/cross sell outside of your store.
I used a combination of free giveaways to draw people in then upsell to a dropshipping product and later on upsell to a more costly product that I'd produce using local 3rd party entities.
Without know what your plan of attack is, I can't correctly answer if you should wait or drop it.
It's all in the structure of your plan.
